The Women’s Fellowship is open to all interested ladies of the church. Known initially as “Ladies’ Aide”, the group was started February 23, 1895, with its chief function being to raise missions’ funds. Currently, the Women’s Fellowship supports all functions of the church. The ladies meet monthly except July and August. Activities of the group include sponsorship of the following: card ministry, college student cheer, Chrismon tree, Angel tree, Blanket Sunday, Red-Cross Blood Drive, annual Family Night, Mother-Daughter Banquet, Graduate Breakfast, and financial support for youth to attend church camp.

The Children’s Department would like to encourage and invite you to bring your children to Sunday School at Long’s Chapel. The Youth and Children are the future of our church. They look toward us for leadership, guidance and direction in every aspect of life.
Through our Sunday School Programs, they learn more about God, the Bible, and how to apply the scripture to everyday life. Our teachers use the Bible, Sunday School curriculum, and hands on crafts and activities.
The youth of our church develop many lasting relationships through Sunday School and other activities at church. They enjoy coming to learn about God and sharing in this experience with their friends. Our youth are encouraged to become active in the church by participating in church programs, plays, youth groups, and special events. Our Children’s Department host a Valentine’s Day party for the kids, an Easter Egg Hunt, a Mother’s and Father’s Day program, Vacation Bible School and a Christmas Program.
The young people in this group are 6th thru 8th graders. It just so happens, at this time, our group is an all girl group. We meet at least 2 times a month for our regular meetings and to plan our fund raisers and our service projects.
