Rev. Baughn has recently announced his retirement and the church appreciates his years of service and we wish him and Susan the very best.
A pastor search committee has been formed and interested candidates can submit their qualifications to Darrell Russell at
drussdog@live.com. In the next few weeks, we will post our pastor profile at this site. The search committee is praying to the Lord to bring us our next pastor and we request your prayers and support during this process.

The Hospitality Committee is asking for a $10 donation from every family member for the flower fund. Please give your donation to Becky or Rachel.

Called Business meeting right after church February 12th.

The Christian Men's Fellowship quarterly meeting will be at Union Ridge on Monday, February 13 at 7pm.

The Brunswick Stew sale is set for March 3, place your orders early. $6 a quart orders due by February 22.

The Youth Group will be going to Winter Jam on Febraury 4th. The cost is $10.

Family Night is February 11th, we wil be having a covered dish meal and lots of fun.

The purpose of this Church is to lead people to God through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ by maintaining regular services of worship, proclaiming the gospel, providing Christian education, administering the Sacraments of the Church, exercising Christian care over its members, uplifting the lives and homes of the community, and promoting the spiritual welfare of all mankind.

Welcome to our website!!! Long's Chapel Christian Church is located 4 miles north of Haw River, NC on Highway 49 North. We have traditional Sunday school at 9:45 AM and a Worship Service at 11:00 AM. We welcome you to join us in worshiping the One True God, and ministering to the lost and needy.

The following groups are an integral part of our church:

Men's Fellowship meeting each third Sunday morning of the month at 8:00 AM for breakfast in the church fellowship hall.
Women's Fellowship meeting the second Tuesday evening of every month at 7:00 PM.
Young at Hearts (YAH) meeting the third Thursday each month at 11:30 AM for lunch. (60 + group).
Senior Youth Fellowship meeting two Sundays a month.
Choir Practice each Wednesday night at 7:30PM. All are welcome.
